The Cerruti Fashion House boasts a history spanning more than a century. In 1881, three Italian brothers — Antonio, Quintino, and Stefano Cerruti — founded a textile factory.
Global recognition came with Nino Cerruti, who took over the family business at the age of 20 in 1950. The first men's clothing collection, presented in 1967, was considered revolutionary. That same year, the first boutique opened in Paris, and soon the fashion house, now known as Cerruti 1881, relocated to the French capital and global fashion hub.
In 1976, the first women's collection was launched. During the 1980s and 1990s, the brand introduced a line of perfumes and opened stores in various countries. By the early 1990s, the company managed over 25 divisions worldwide.
Today, under the name Nino Cerruti, the brand offers fashion apparel and a wide range of accessories.
